Problem/Challenge

The client required a protective structure to bridge the open area where truck offloading equipment accesses the building. This open space was exposed to varying weather conditions, potentially disrupting logistics and causing operational inefficiencies. The challenge was to design a durable, non-corrosive, and lightweight structure that could be installed efficiently while ensuring long-term performance without the need for constant maintenance.

The use of GRP box sections provided a strong yet lightweight framework, while the clear polycarbonate panels ensured adequate natural light penetration without compromising protection.
