Problem/Challenge
Dale Farm faced a safety concern with their existing access ladders in the whey processing room, which posed a slip hazard due to their slippery surfaces. Climbing these ladders presented a risk to personnel.
Solution
Relinea addressed Dale Farm’s safety concerns by installing GRP Ladder Rung Covers designed to significantly improve health and safety when climbing ladders. The embedded anti-slip grit surface drastically increased friction, reducing the risk of slips. The covers also increased the surface area for foot contact, further enhancing safety.
The heavy-duty GRP Ladder Rung Covers offered by Relinea proved to be a durable solution, resistant to rust, and corrosion. The safety yellow colour of the covers enhanced visibility, ensuring that ladder rungs are clearly seen.
