Relinea Hosts Successful Fundraising Event on World Mental Health Day
Today, Relinea proudly marked World Mental Health Day with a special fundraising event aimed at promoting mental well-being and supporting vital community causes. In line with this year’s theme set by the World Federation of Mental Health, workplace mental health, the event underscored the importance of addressing mental health in the workplace to benefit individuals, organisations, and communities alike.
Relinea staff came together for a stationary bike challenge, taking turns to see how many miles they could collectively achieve. The initiative was designed to highlight the positive effects of physical activity on mental well-being, as exercise helps release endorphins that boost mood and reduce stress.
In addition to raising awareness about mental health, the event raised funds for four incredible charities: St. Vincent de Paul, Air Ambulance NI, Cash for Kids and Guide Dogs for the Blind NI. These charities play a crucial role in supporting vulnerable members of the community, and Relinea is proud to contribute to their ongoing efforts.
A Collective Effort for a Great Cause
The Relinea team embraced the spirit of the day, showing tremendous enthusiasm and teamwork. Together, they cycled through the challenge, raising both awareness and funds. The initiative also aligned perfectly with the theme of workplace mental health, reinforcing the importance of maintaining a healthy work-life balance and the role physical activity plays in reducing stress and improving overall well-being.
Relinea thanks everyone who participated, supported, and donated to this meaningful cause. Your contributions will help make a difference in the lives of many, with a fantastic £335 being raised.
