Our installation team is currently putting our GRP Rooftop Access solutions in place for our client Rhino Roofing & Cladding who is working on the PepsiCo facility in Cork.
As you can see from the pictures, we designed, manufactured, and installed a GRP ramp coming from the door using our GRP profile and pedestals, with a solid top decking with grit top flooring. Our GRP handrail was fixed to the side.
For safe access over cables, we also installed a long step-over using solid top decking with yellow nosing, and GRP plate with a grit top to show the delineation of safe walking routes.

PepsiCo is nearing completion on the €127m expansion of its Little Island manufacturing facility in Co Cork. The company is adding manufacturing capacity and further investing its its R&D campus after increasing its workforce in Cork by 20% of the past two years.
PepsiCo currently employs more than 1,250 people in Ireland, including 642 based in Little Ireland, where it currently has 40 open roles. The company employed 700 people across contracting and vendor partners during the design and construction of the extension. The Little Island facility makes Pepsi Max, Gatorade, 7Up, Mountain Dew and Doritos, and PepsiCo said the expanded facility support increased demand and further innovation.
“This latest investment in our R&D campus delivers state of the art laboratories for several quality and research teams and a new contemporary digital solutions suite,” said Breda Kennedy, R&D senior director at PepsiCo. “Investment in our business has driven the growth of our R&D team, from just 10 people in 2007 to more than 130 today. This continued investment will further strengthen our ability to attract the best talent across digital, engineering, analytics, food science, sensory and microbiology.”
